Small and medium enterprises loan guarantee program “Kafalah” launched the Global Entrepreneurship Week event in conjunction with the Global  Entrepreneurship Week in Riyadh in Hayy as Sifarat (Oud Square) on 12 and 13 November. The event aims to enhance the impact and permanent presence of male and female entrepreneurs and to introduce business owners to the financing guarantee products of the Kafalah Program. Both the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (monsha’at) and the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Bank participated in the pavilions accompanying the event. Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) participated as a strategic sponsor for the success of this event.
The Kafalah Program, in cooperation with SAB, has provided financing offers to male and female entrepreneurs in order to speed up the procedures for approving financing applications, obtaining credit approval, and introducing enterprises and event visitors to the bank's various financing products and joint financing programs.
 The SME Bank system initiative comes as part of its efforts to increase financial support for the SME sector by enhancing the contribution of financial institutions to provide innovative financing solutions, develop the financial and operational capabilities of this sector, and enable it to contribute to development and achieve a prosperous national economy in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The Kafala Program also seeks to support micro, small and medium enterprises that contribute to strengthening the national economy by providing financial guarantees to enhance the opportunity for enterprises to obtain the necessary financing in order to reduce lending risks borne by financing entities through strategic partnerships and innovative technical tools supported by the program's knowledge rules. This comes in integration with the SME Bank, which will support the expansion of SME financing . ​​​
