The Finance Guarantee Program for Small and Medium Enterprises “Kafala" won the Best Guarantee Program for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Middle East and the Best Program to Support and Empower Businesswomen at the International Finance Awards held at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai, as part of a major ceremony during which many awards were distributed in various sectors.

This award is granted to corporate entities that are working continuously to develop their products and services and raise the standards of competition in providing solutions to male and female entrepreneurs, in a way that serves the global business community.

The award was given to Mr. Hammam Hashim, the CEO and the Member of the Board of Directors of the Kafala Program, who expressed his pride and gratitude for providing support and achieving the targets by empowering small and medium enterprises owners to grow the GDP and achieve 2030 Vision.

The award was awarded during a ceremony held in Dubai organized and sponsored by a number of government and private entities, with the presence of many financial companies and Gulf and international banks to celebrate the achievements of the financial sector for the year 2023.

The award comes as an extension of Kafalah's continuous efforts aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises in obtaining the necessary financing guarantee to develop their activities, encouraging financial institutions and lenders to deal with the small and medium enterprises sector, in addition to increasing job opportunities for training and employing citizens and residents, and contributing to upgrading the competitiveness of local enterprises, which will positively reflect on the national economy.

It is noteworthy that the International Finance Award annually celebrates enterprises with institutional and professional excellence, owners of innovative financing solutions,  and  individuals who have an impact on their companies and the economic development movement  in their countries.
